Gotta love it . . . The political arena this year in America has the theme of one seemingly Superstar candidate campagning on the theme of "Hope: Yes We Can," and you have swerved into the hope with this beautiful poem about things growing through the cracks in the sidewalk . . . I love it . . .
Beautiufl picture and lovely poem that reminds me of the song...There is a rose in Spanish Harlem. The strength of these flowers and roses that survive where nothing should survive sets a good example for all of us...
one of the wonders of nature and proof of the will to live--love this write!

I love this. I always feel a kinship to these "hearty" ones who can grow and flourish despite what others might perceive as imperfect conditions. These are our beautiful teachers.
Your poem is about survival in spite of..... I like it and its brevity says it fully. I like all yellow flowers and the photo is amazingly indicative of how yellow changes the landscape. In a class by itself! - Bill
