A mother's hope and a mother's dream,
To raise her son who's eyes are keen,
To see life's dangers and hidden woes,
To see as a man where ever he goes,
We know you will stumble,
Mother's know you will fall,
But be a man in every situation,
Raise your head and stand tall,
A son is special,
A son is love,
A son, then a man must be driven by desires from up above,
We know that you know which way you want to go,
But know that in your hearts,
And let a mother's love show,
Show us that gentle, caring smile,
The one we admired when you were a small child,
Let us hear your laughter so warm and so bright,
Let us see your lives on a road that is right,
We understand when a wrong path has been taken,
But we pray that your values once again has been shaken,
You are good men because you came from us,
Your filled with greatness from your mother's touch,
It's never too late to make your mother shine with pride,
Just stand tall and be a man,
Know that our love is by your side,
You are my son, my pride, my joy,
You are a part of me,
And know that I will be by your side,
Loving you throughout eternity.
