Cascading Pearls rolling down her cheek
And the sweetest smile hiding behind grief.
Eyes so watery that it melts the toughest heart
And the freshness of her face stolen by some thief.
Echoing laughter and the sweetest smile was what
Had adorned that heavenly face yester night.
What monster did then break her heart
And left behind this piercing sight?
Sweet she still does look even now but
Just the way I don’t want to see her be.
Enthralling all hearts her smile did do
Riveting is now her tears also to see.
Breaks my heart, in pieces small
That to count I find them not.
Smile is the perfect jewel for her face,
Tear stained cheeks and a quivering voice is not.
Be gone, be thee rude sadness
That touches so cruelly do her soul;
Touch me if you find no one else
But in her life don’t play a role.
Done she has not any mischief or harm
To the happiness of any one or all;
Guilty is she of no crime except
Inside someone’s heart she might have crawled.
The sweetest being of all she is and
Simple thoughts only her attire.
Let the sweet have the sweetness;
Please make her not life’s satire.
Wish I could take it away all so far
To the horizon’s world, far from her reach.
Embrace I shall, pains and grieves all, with a smile
If you just let her have the quiet walk by the beach.
I beg to you, oh Lord, shall not beg again,
Give me the strength at least to try
To place a smile on that tear-stained face,
For it hurts, it hurts so much… to see her cry.
Welcome!
