Pressing down on the pedal hard
Trying to avoid the rain, the fog, real-life
Panicking over an immaculate drive
The luxury car that might just meet wet weather
Runs the Redlight
Talking on a Bluetooth
Snuffs out the Black man
Rolls hard
Across the smooth grey hood
White decision decides to
Push on – unseen
Finishes off the brown mud – cold coffee
Doesn’t give a dry shite about
A Yellow light
Only the Green cost of what
Could’ve been
Didn’t care to wear Orange
A Department of Corrections jumpsuit
Clean getaway once more
The guilt is washed away
