A selection out of Poetry Collection by Ashira in the works stages.
The wind blows so hard
You can hear nothing else
But it and your own thoughts,
And the rain drives so hard
That all the world is a blur
It beats against your skin with it’s pinpoint pricks of pain,
You realize just how very alone you can be in a hostile world
That cares nothing for your existence,
How special it can be that others are there to love and warm
But in the storm of life
Hurt happens
The storm in its very essence hurts with its fierceness
But the rain cleanses
When we let it
An odd kind of peace within the rain
Reducing one to self –
Nothing else remains
Reminiscent of the fury within at times
Sheer determination and fierceness
Fighting to be free
The wings of angels flutter
Allowing one
To embrace love and laughter
To cleanse and refresh anew
After the storm
A rainbow is said to follow
Watches for the myriads of colors
To appear
Created by the tears of saints
