 Charge it to the game
We’re in it just the same
The only way through life
Is with both pain and strife

And so the vision opens…

And a vista undreamed
Greets my All-Seeing-Eye
Beneath me a broad plain lies
Verdant with life forested hills
And river valleys
Small collections of huts
Smoke rising in the early evening crimson
The sounds of life lived of children playing
Mothers talking fathers laughing
Men and women loving hating
Awakened to the ever-present Now

Charge it to the game
We’re in it just the same
The only way through life
Is with both pain and strife

Leading down from my vantage point
A path diverges
Split in twain presenting me with
The choice of a Lifetime
Joy rises from the center of me
Lifting me up on wings of light and sound
I am suddenly aware of the possibilities

Then suddenly I am bereft
Left to my own devices Darkness surrounds
My heart beating an ever-present
Reminder that Love lifts us all
Causes us all to stand tall

Charge it to the game
We’re in it just the same
The only way through life
Is with both pain and strife

Born in Triple-Darkness
Etheric spirals mark this Form and Substance
As Mind, Body and Soul achieve trance
Rising unto the Right bearing witness to
The reality of God's Light
The Golden Mean sight unseen
Ra's Eye open birth of the Black Queen
Truth repetitively spoken
Hark unto these Words Visions
Hallucinations seen and heard
Hope and doom selfish decisions
Born in the gloom of brooding
Storm clouds towering heavenly
Traversing dales between lightning-split vales
And God speaks from the Manger
As the thunderous roar of His anger
Denounces dangerous misspoken lore
Ash soot and lies stain sorrow-washed skies
While volcanic peaks cast brimstone
And fiery tears elicit death-wrapped moans
Which nature eternally condones

Charge it to the game
We’re in it just the same
The only way through life
Is with both pain and strife

A paroxysm of orthodoxy shatters the illusion
Consciousness burgeons
Opening the door between worlds
Cracked street lights shining broken light
On broken dreams
Angels trying to fly with broken wings
City nights hide the Devil’s delights
As the Heavenly Chorus sings

Charge it to the game
We’re in it just the same
The only way through life
Is with both pain and strife

God weeps and fears gain sentience
As soul-aching tension
Creation Become momentary sins unspun
Rapturous ascension signals
The damnation of the Unmentioned
Yet still tribulations kill
Decimating most Seven Times Seven Minds
And the Heavenly Host trumpet
Seven kinds of Hell on Earth
Prophets witness the birth of the new day
And a new way of thinking speaking being
Of drinking eating seeing
Bless the Angel's Way as
Sebek's Nation of Setians bay
In anticipation true emancipation
Lies at Death's crossroad
Legba's pride revealed in the Bible-Code
Triple-Darkness once more beckons
Incarnate Word vibing sessions mark
The path toward God
And death leads to
The Triumvirate Holy Synod
Y Equals Self God

Charge it to the game
We’re in it just the same
The only way through life
Is with both pain and strife

And so the vision opens…

Thanks, Mark! Illuminating piece. It reminds me of a quote from my favorite philosopher: "Prayer," says Alain, "is when night descends over thought." "But the mind must meet the night," reply the mystics and the existentials. Yes, indeed, but not that night that is born under closed eyelids and through the mere will of man—dark, impenetrable night that the mind calls up in order to plunge into it. If it must encounter a night, let it be rather that of despair, which remains lucid—polar night, vigil of the mind, whence will arise perhaps that white and virginal brightness which outlines every object in the light of the intelligence.
