I love being with you and being a part of your life.

The time we spend together is wonderful and so

relaxing. I can always be myself no matter the

situation. Your adoring smiles and nods from across

the table when I talk is so comforting. I know

you’re not really listening, and I catch you absorbing

my excitement. The way you place your hand on

top of mine to let me know that I can slow down

and that you’re not going anywhere, and that we

have our entire lives, reminds me of how much you

love me. I love the way you ignore the fact that I

knowingly finish the rest of your wine and then ask

if I want more with the tone “have fun” in your voice.

The look of your amber eyes are so brilliant and they

quietly light up our corner of the room. You whisper

something to me from across the table, and I have no

idea what it is, but the tilt of your head and the look

in your eyes sends a thousands messages of reasons

why you love me.
