Completely Mine

You are above me,
and very far –
as far as the first
evening star

I throw you a kiss
and your touch turns
it to liquid gold

Wherever you walk
you leave a path of
enchantment

Your smile turns all
darkness to sunshine
and my heart opens
wide

When you leave it
vanishes inside and
looks as if it has died

As I drift to where you
are; the mist around
me begins to lift

There you stand in the
kiss that I gave you
and in that kiss is the
love I have saved up
for a lifetime

This is the moment
that I know all of
you is completely mine
