I’ll light the candles We’ll watch them glow You’ll say the things I’m longing to know Sitting so quiet Just holding hands Basking in “someday” And our future plans Etched in our souls Are promises we’ve made For an everlasting love That time just won’t fade You look at me And I see the mist Your eyes cannot hide Sweet moments like this The flickering shadows That dance ‘round the room Enticing our senses With desire’s perfume Hold me and kiss me And make my head spin Unleash the passion I carry within Make love forever I’ll answer with sighs Over the threshold Way up in the sky The candles – now burned out They’ve witnessed a love That’s everlastingly constant Like the heavens above � Copyright

This is a beauty. As hot as the flame on the candle.
