There is nothing seemingly perfect
As beyond the billowing sky
A flowering valley or deep blue sea
Or a babbling stream nearby.
The tranquility of the blue waters
Standing still in my view
A majestic scene of reality
The sunlight gloriously brings through.
How peaceful the birds of the morning
My thoughts can soar on their wings
I forget the troubles and sorrows
That turns our lives into things
I cast my burden to the water
And watch it flow freely in waves
Reconciling life in the valley
Considering the road my life paves.
Grateful for chances I’m given
Ashamed by things I had done
Thankful for all that I learned
Yet, proud of what I have become.
