AIDS need not be this way.

Waiting is wasting only when you can’t define the place in which one chooses to hide from the pain of too many excursions into a void called sleepless vision.

Visions which proclaim that pimping ain’t easy but I’m told whoring is harder as the stroll is filled by whores of old in fresh garments.

Garments made of skin permeated by blackness as if dreded locks will camouflage disease laden minds that negate the commonality of our species and our shared vulnerability in these most dangerous of times.

The new buffoons grow rich while spewing. Mind poison to those too lazy to climb up from the depths of substandard literacy and the scriptures are fulfilled daily by the blind who now lead their blinded planet companions and sing songs of I’m poor because I’m black as they wallow in the throes of self pity and whining rather than creating worthwhile pursuits of their own making.

A precious few work at low level jobs as they pursue not the alleged American Dream but basic survival all the while becoming bait for the pimps of blackness who claim to speak for them as they rob many of their meager resources.

Feigning disbelief and concern they feast at tables they did not prepare because they await reparations for past injustices which began in the heart of the motherland and migrated upward to Egypt and beyond.

The engagement in mental fasting prevents the victimized from building stronger structures which would uplift a suffering and dying people.

As young black women are numbered in the millions and young black men’s numbers dwindle and new mantras emerge of pimping blackness with declarations that state there are no rules beyond self preservation.

Over stand this it is we who are destroying ourselves and DL brothers comprise the new weapon of black mass destruction.

Out brothers are at least honest about their sexual orientation.

Charlotte can hush no more because she is HIV positive and soon to die and just black, more black, and stand up with fist raised black has moved on to another unsuspecting woman.

Girlfriend also has to assume responsibility for her choices as she prepares herself for another outing filled by unsafe sexual practices while she assumes AIDS won’t catch her.
