I thought I saw a poet die
no one cried or looked his way.
I thought I saw a poet die and wondered
If I would be next as broken hearts seldom frequently beat.

And now I know that he lives in words songs and deeds.
I thought I saw a poet die but then discovered that through mist filled eyes he lives.
He lives
Forever.

A profound diving into the sea of imagination.
"I thought I saw a poet die" paints and sings.

Well, did he physically die? Living eternally in heaven? I'm nosy, lol, this raises a lot of questions which is a good thing Dear Mikii. I love it, I know at one point they thought that I was dead. NOT! I have more to do on this side of heaven. ;)

Love you bunches, Janny xoxoxo

What a wonderful outlook, Mikii. Right now, I do feel as though I am dying but I've never considered myself a "poet." Others tell me I am and that's more than good enough for me and I am very grateful. Thank you for sharing this offering. Love and peace. Regis

A fitting lyrical salute as much to the meaning and significance of a poet's life as to one's death. Emotionally powerful and conceptually commanding.
