Seldom has so much depended upon so little In the grand scheme of things as we seek solutions
Where the answers are ceremoniously unheard.
As ushering takes on a more potent form
We resign ourselves to apathy
And futility requires little effort save a sigh.
Wanton celebrants bask in past glories as they seek
To hide from the radiance of all things inevitable
While you and I continue to sing in muffled choruses
Choruses filled with faith and love
For we know that winter seldom waits.
Going calmly forth, we are surrounded by chaos
And the silent affirmation that despair is the nectar only for unbelievers.
Relying totally on that within which refuses to die
We humbly acknowledge the God face, which demands from all that we survive, grow,
and love.
