Seldom has so much depended upon so little
In the grand scheme of things, we seek solutions
And the answers are ceremoniously unheard.
Ushering takes on a more potent form
As we resign ourselves to apathy while futility
Requires little effort save a sigh.
Wanton celebrants bask in past glories
As they seek to hide from the radiance of all things inevitable
And you and I continue to sing in muffled choruses
Abounding in faith and love, we know still that winter
Seldom waits.
Going calmly forth, we are surrounded by chaos
Nevertheless, we silently affirm that despair is the nectar only for unbelievers.
Relying totally on that within which refuses to die
We humbly acknowledge our God face that demands
Above all things that we survive, grow, and love.
This is a poem of strength. I like this a lot!
