Leading forces compel us to move forward as the fear of being left behind
Becomes our new reality.
Savoring momentary strength one moves towards an awaiting horizon which promises a peace we are want to explore
As dinosaurs are restored once more to a warming planet
that we fear is dying.
New organisms emerge to feast upon a mankind so intent upon dying they deny planet destruction which they have caused and you and I await to ride a unicorn to a better life that some call death.

Inhaling amidst tears for our progeny we can no longer sing religious songs to mutes
Who unable to hear decide that self destruction is a way of life practiced by all who think war between each other will result in peace.
Who is this God that gives us life knowing all along that we would not value it.
Or is our belief only a mirage we look upon for comfort.
I cannot give in to disbelief but am among the walking wounded for whom comfort is slowly fleeting
As madness becomes for many the truth of today’s journey.
And the greatest lesson is to live one day at a time
When tomorrow is really today.
