For my close friend who was a victim of domestic violence and murdered by her boyfriend, a former policeman.
Yes I'm enraged, saddened, and mourning a beautiful person. I don't believe in capital punishment as administrated by the state; when you hurt one of mine I believe in it on a more personal level especially when the victim is a defenseless innocent.

How dare you leave us with conversations undone with laughter unfinished.
How dare you leave without a goodbye, a warm embrace your infectious smile
Your brash and bold attack on life injustices.
How dare you leave us.
How dare you leave us amidst your winter winds as the trees announce your passing summer pained but full of promise as we awaited another Springs’ song.
How dare you leave us amidst sad songs that were diminished by the remembrance of joys you brought into our lives which now allow us to look at your picture and your smiling eyes and whisper a soft thank you for the time we were allowed to share with you.
Goodbye is unnecessary as you will live with us forever in memory and always in love.
A beautiful way to say goodbye...no...so long to someone taken by force. I hope time cups your heart with some slice of comfort because I know that time can not heal it. Beautiful piece.
Oh my, Oh WOW! This strikes at the right spot for every man woman or child who lost their life or feel as if their soul was stolen away by someone who just didn't give a. . . or worse.

I know how deeply you feel the loss of such a dear friend, Mikii, but you are not alone in such a sad inicdent. You have all our support and deepest sympathy. In case of murder I believe in capital punishment because many Ginas will be saved who might otherwise have been butchered by brutes such as this one

You are now understandably angry. Who wouldn't be? We are all human. Let time pass, grieve will lessen even if we never forget. Then begin the healing process of forgiving an idiot who knows no better. May the Lord forgive him too. Then as Kimmy said you will find peace. Victor
"Gina's Goodbye" can only be raised to an all new height, by allowing Evil to Lose...and find peace, regaining your trust in the love that surrounds our world. "...Remember, where goodness fizzes, Evil froths! Allow kindness to enkindle inside your souls! Succumb to its fruits in fermentation, rise above all the immoral desecrations!..."
I wrote this just this past summer..."Let Evil Lose" listed under my short stories, dedicated to the children who were murdered in the school systems...

Sad Prayers for peace for your loss Mikki so heartbreaking. I know people say they cannot understand why one stays in these situations, but being a survior of two brutal marriages I know of the reasons, fear, support finaicail especially if kids are involved, co dependancy the care taker of the abuse and malipitive spouse becomes ill {{{ILL}} no longer do they rationalize. Some it is the sick need to be loved. The list goes on and on many do not get out unscared emotionaly and physically. Often it ends in tragic death. This is so powerful and needs to be heard thank you from a survivor that barely escaped.
Happy Holiday Season and prayers for all that live in this situation, Jesus offers his love and will give them strength to leave.

And know that they are in a better place where they don't hurt any more. It really is the only way to soften the loss and from ourselves hurting at the loss.
I am all for capital punishment. It is the only thing a criminal fears. Society should not have to be penalized further by paying for a murderer's incarceration, knowing that these scum will be paroled, so they can do it again and again. The statistics prove it out. And a sentence that prohibits parole is often reversed.
I am so sorry for her loss, Mikii. She will be missed by those who love her and it's okay to be angry!

She did not leave you but was taken away, and who knows, perhaps it was to spare her more violence. We do not know the mind and will of Him who gave us life. I do know that He will spare us any hurt greater than we can bare.
