I feel your promises hear your silence and when you feel that nagging desire yet you run the Boston marathon consciously pushing me away but keeping me within your fold between your breasts to hold between your lips my name.
But you wander through the rainbow of my want my thighs against your whispers you feel my propensity you bask in the intensity intentionally nursing my wounds opening them with absence till we seek one another out to play to dance around realness the words fake and we laugh in the facade too burdened to reveal to share.

With intense eyes you look into me like no one else has and I wonder I ponder I feel abandoned while your presence is so great beneath my wings and the wind with your scent my discontent wanting to be so far when you are close. Understanding the twin flame we share you say my name and know I care and walk between thin lines of love and dissipate within my erotic desires.

Sliding between the river of discontent I remember songs sang so long ago when a pretend playa hid behind a facade to shield anticipated heartbreak and I sigh because my journey is slowed by forays into valleys too long and rivers too deep to play in as I wonder now and question what I can really handle.
Gone is the bravado of times past as memories fade in today time because it is easier to forget than risk another painfilled ride eventhough joy may await for the asking.

Can I handle you....only when surrender is an option and my battle scars are less frightening so content am I to love at a distance, care at a distance, and pray at a distance that you tempt me no more to seek the unseekable, touch the untouchable, and expose the flames which are unquenchable once fanned by the handable muse you have become.

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani
