Š2008 M.BENNETT HOOPER The mind says all things are possible in the universe and man need only to release himself From his conceit and discover his true potentialities. He need only escape once to appreciate the true beauty of his existence and upon escaping commit himself at re-entry to the total advancement of his species. That a man can dream and then breath into his dream the life of creation ennobles him among all the creatures of the earth. That price of nobility is not in itself the standard for human perfection but is rather the symbol of human frailty. We are an interdependent species and so long as man refuses to recognize that interdependence we exist jeopardized by our own ignorance to become a non-entity. It is only by our acceptance of the God head that we have thus far succeeded this long and even that recognition is too slow in coming for many. Recognition of the God head means subverting individual will when it jeopardizes good will. It means recognition and respect of the rights of all to live and prosper in harmony. It is part of the oldest law in the civilizing of mankind for it re-states the supremacy of a divine force. If in that re-statement it defines which man shall lead and which man shall follow Let he who is to be a follower, follow valiantly and graciously secure in the value of his humanity for we were not all truly meant to lead. And if a man emerges as a leader let him be a messenger humble before his creator and his conscience. Make him ever mindful that leadership is a task and not the domain for personal folly. Let him be immune to the trappings of false and miniscule power, always mindful of the fact that his is likened to that of a grain of sand in the universe. Powerful momentarily but easily washed away by the tides of newer fortunes or misfortunes. Leader or follower non selection of your role relegates you to an untimely death. Talking heads are called power titans now is the time for countries to be led by statesmen. Bow down or fall down these are the obvious choices for people who have bowed and fallen too long. Are these presidential hopefuls the best we have to offer in 2008. Are we not sleeping at the wheel?

None are the best or the brightest, but they are the ones with the fatest brief cases and I guess that is all that matters anymore in this now land of greed...

Deeply thought provoking, Mikii, very well penned. This is election year, a informed, intelligent decision must be made. Right now, there's not one I like. :( They all say the same bull poop, hoping to get elected; once in office, all they care about is their own agenda and interests, and forget whom they serve. Sad.
