DIRECTING TO MIS DIRECT

In an era where mis-direction has been elevated to become the norm
In every section of society, and in most of our institutions.
New phrases and definitions abound as the rush is made to change
Simplistic situations into complex ones.

This is in fact a smokescreen to negate responsibility for
Individual behavior in most areas of irresponsibility.
Society is blamed for youthful misconduct and misdeeds.
TV and movies set behavioral standards for child people too
Lazy to read.

They are lazy because reading involves too many senses.
Reading and study require quiet attention by a populace enamored of noise and nurtured on action so long as movement is detected whether positive or negative.
Blood and guts becomes more a mantra and way of life
rather than a description of deplorable behavior.

Education of the young has become a misnomer
by a society which really doesn’t love its’ children.
Politicians spout about family values as we legitimize
killing our babies in the womb,
And ponder lowering the age of prepubescent children
who commit heinous crimes so that we may try them as adults
within the criminal just ice shitstem.
How long will it be before we execute children?
Today, tomorrow, or next week?

Thou Shall not kill is meaningless to those who would not kill babes in the womb
Only to wait and medicate the insane on death row, Singleton in Arkansas,
so he will understand he is to be executed.
To kill or not to kill is not the question.
Black mean and women kill each other everyday in spirit, mind, and body when they allow their children to raise and nurture themselves
Via misdirection and the enemies amongst us smile as we race towards oblivion
And sing can’t catch me now when the race for many ends in a loveless corner alone , breathing the air of chosen misdirection.
I told you so is meaningless,
meaningless when no corrections are even attempted.
And directing continues to misdirect as
the blind happily lead the blind.
