The British whose motto used to be keep a stiff upper lip seems to have changed over the years to flap your trap and keep truth under wraps.
Dr. David Kelly , the weapons scientist ironically and apparently committed suicide after stating before the British Parliament that the government had exaggerated the Iraqi threat of weapons of mass destruction.
Seems right out of a movie script except this is no movie nor is it Reality TV.

When purportedly democratic governments lie to the people over and over again one has to wonder where democracy ends and fascism begins.
We unfortunately live in an age where nothing is learned from history his or mine and the apathetic goose step to the loudest drummer as truth becomes more and more impenetrable and lies are the order of the day.

New York Times and BBC- Better Be Careful as your sounding of the alarms face muffling by societies enamored by dangerous fiction and sound bites.
Long live a free and uncontrolled press and free speech.
These are after all, are they not the true barometers of a democratic society?
