Hip hop of the 80's was poetic social commentary now it is just trash talking.

So you see hip hop is intellectually serious especially since it has been co-opted by record labels to convey messages detrimental to Black life. Think not? Then justify the proliferation of world class pimps and whores . Light skinned women of color need to beware and be awake as you are once more on America’s shopping block. make no mistakes my sisters house niggers come in all hues. But you.. You are first to be sold and darker sisters need not gloat or cast stones. Your day is looming even more onerous as non medical experimentation kills you under the guise of medication. Think not? Then look to the motherland and the self sacrifice of Black life via AIDS the scourge of Black women throughout the Diaspora. Dr. Rose’s of the world must unite and teach quickly while there are still enough of us left to learn. Hip Hop has dropped to the lowest common denominator and is now a weapon of mass destruction in the Black community as the twisted elements chant “We dangerous, bitches pay a fee just to hang with us.” 50cent and Nelly are ghetto terrorists. I ain’t hating because they are rich. Black slave catchers and sellers probably got rich during the middle passage. I’m hating the direction in which they lead Black youths. Pimping and whoring is nothing to glorify. It is the new/old narcotic of the Diaspora. They are committing cultural genocide. They are mind rapists and female haters. Men who hate women, hate men who hate women, who hate men who hate women hate families and mankind and use weapons of mass destruction spewed forth from their mouths as they become killers of the dream. D-R-E-A-M, Deceptive Reality Envelopes All Mankind. Mind rapist. Mind rapist. Mind rapist. RAPE is still a heinous crime and AIDS does not mean help.

So very true. I consider rapp music, "cursing to music."
