proud flesh you cut at the nose spoiling my face leaving me to wrap the wound with what was left not much of me all around to cover my self at all costs but time steals slow wounds old is new healing by secondary intent.

I enjoyed the form of this poem and the last few words the most. It's taken me this long to comment because AuthorsDen has been timing out on me when I comment. Just a few lines but they make you think... ;)
