what i wouldn't give
longing hits in,
head-swimming memories,
you sweating over me,
black hair falling loose,
our fingers laced
in the dark forests
of our lovemaking,
heat rising,
your locks,
locking up,
thick humid cords,
like snakes,
searching my face.
what i wouldn't give
is what i no longer have,
loving beyond skin's depth,
having cost too much.
a moonless night,
head hitting the pillow,
in shadowed waves,
i run my fingers,
through its darkness,
watching it fall
dark upon light,
as we were
selfsame and contradiction--
in rare moments,
complemeting each other;
in raw moments,
tearing each other apart.
what i wouldn't give,
for one more
rare blissful moment,
if the raw f***ing moments
hadn't cost so much.
wow... I've been missing your writing...
full of this whole mix of regret and longing and a weird sense of calm...
or that's what i see anyway...
and that last section is great :)
