Too many years have passed and ending your self-imposed exile really will make a difference this time. Take that first baby step, then leap over this last hurdle with purpose so you can tear down what remains of everything that holds you back from living the life that is meant for you. Failing is not an option this time.

I don't know what the challenge was, but this surely exceeds it. Don't take this as an insult, but it sort of reminds me of the Matrix...you know...that desire to finally take the friggin pill, and find out what the heck is really going on. Except this time you are looking inside. I love the line "really will make a difference this time," because it tells two truths, but it comes out rooting for one.
Major League ballplayer Justin Moore is kidnapped from his own ballpark and transported to a foreign land. It might take high-level international negotiations to free him. Or maybe he will take matters into his own hands.
Deputy Dave Jenkins investigates the murder of local high school principal, Jerry Egge, but this is a multi-faceted novel that deals with spiritualism, romance, friendship, and children who fall through the cracks.
