It is often a strange thing
when we go through rough times.
To the idea that everything goes wrong, we cling,
every time that something else goes wrong we whine
Sometimes we have every right to complain,
when an attack against our rights we sustain.
It looks so hopeless on ground
when we're wading our way through.
And, when we finally get through that first round
the way doesn't look as rough as it did though.
When we are thankfully on the outside looking in,
we regret that coming through, we didn't keep it in.
So, when it looks so hopeless
and we want to complain so bad,
let us make it all the way through, regrettless
remembering that at the end we will probably be sad,
through time, if we don't just grin and bare it.
Lest, when we look back, we should regret it.
