Here I am in the woods
and it's the middle of the night.
The fire is going really good
and my night vision is bright.

Me and Cooter on fire guard,
keeping the fire pit going.
Gee, look at the white stars
and the full moon is glowing.

Many thoughts go through my mind,
so many things to think about.
An hour yet to unwind--
memories of last weekend seem so short.

What was it about her
that brought us together?
She's really nice that's for sure
but she's only here two weeks longer.

Is she just another girl?
Was it just another kiss?
She left in such a whirl.
She had that look you just couldn't miss.
