"Stars In The Sky" was my first poem that I wrote.
I originally wrote this poem for a 3rd grade afternoon talent party our teacher had for us kids.
Of course, it has been re-written several times over the years, but I always kept with the same idea of stars in the night sky.
The stars are falling From the sky See the twinkling stars In the night sky Just what is it about Stars in the sky That inspires Romantic thoughts What is it about Stars in the sky That brings lovers closer And what is it about Stars in the sky That brings out child like Excitement in adults
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
