Up In The Attic Again is one of those poems that didn't really happen but with observation, imagination & creative ingenuity you can almost put together a masterpiece. This poem was wriiten on fall night in 1980 after I just happened to be taking out the trash & a observed a neighbor who had living quarters up in the attic of her house. This poem appears in my poetry book The Journey Through My Life.
UP IN THE ATTIC AGAIN The lights are on again Up in the attic again She is up there looking again Searching thru memories again Ever since he left her life She has just kept out of sight He will never come home again She wonders where does she begin To sooth over her shocking loss Goes to the attic to get lost Reliving memories romantic The lights are on up in the attic
