This poem is about my mom who when she would walk across the dirt road to her garden carrying pails of water how the tale of "Jack & Jill" would come to her mind.

A MOM'S THOUGHTS TURN TO JACK AND JILL

My mom 's garden was growing

Across the dirt road at home

                Tending to her plants growing

She had no need to roam

My mom would have to carry

Many heavy pails full of water

To nourish her beloved plants daily

She couldn't wait until sometime later

She would tell me about her thoughts

Of Jack and Jill that was in her mind

Coming up with an inventive thought

My mom came up with a great find

Using the wheelbarrow that she bought

Easing the carrying of the pailsof water grind

Your mom was not only a dedicated gardener, she was also a innovator/inventor of better ways of getting things done.
