DeJa Vu-----THE PAST AND PRESENT OF NAPPING

Had come home from work

Sat down from a day that was sapping

Being tired from a day at work

Before I knew it I was napping

When I had woke up up finally

Over an hour or so had passed

Had slept so well and soundly

Wondered how long my nap lasted

I had been napping pleasantly

I wondered what time it was

I wondered what day it was

It reminded me of the distant past

Being sick, how long it would last

When i was in bed so much

And i couldn't sleep so much

When i did finally fall asleep

I felt like I slept for a week

I asked what time it was

I asked what day it was

I kept asking how long did I sleep

I kept asking did i sleep a whole week
