I always marveled at how much people would spend trying to dress right for an occasion. Probably the dress of weddings for the bride, the bridesmaids, the groom and the groomsmen, represent the most expensive dress up that only is used once.
I never dressed up very much. Often finding old clothes that were different but suited the situation. My paralysis meant that I could no longer wear long-sleeved shirts with the appropriate amount of shirt and cufflink appearing beyond the coat sleeve.
