My poem / prose "Why Would You" is about why would someone go against the principles of others and why would say something against the grain of others....
I would, and here's why. It's always new ideas that move us forward. Sometimes, people have to go against the grain or become subservient to it. Without viewing it from another perspective, life is either boring or holding us captive.

However, going against the grain is not always insane.
Think of Fulton's Folley, he invested in Alaska.
That land turned into a gold mine, by golly!
Now think of all those folks that thought the world was flat!
Going against them would have labeled you insane and that's a fact!
Then there was the guy who wanted to build a 350-mile canal upstate.
Most said he was crazy but it paid for itself and made New York GREAT!
So it's not always best to follow the crowd.
Like Nike says, Just say no, and say it out loud!
