My poem "Wet Leaves Glistening In The Night" is about getting up in the middle of a night during a storm and looking out the window to see a mess of wet leaves laying on the ground and leaves flying around in the wind....
They certainly do… And they can be slick, too. My twin brother, your ago coming home from some friendly libations, came upon a spot of wet leaves and spun backward into a tree. You might say that the tree got him down. ;-)
