My poem "A Red Rosebud On The Alter" is about how, when a church member gives birth to a child, a red rosebud in placed on the alter in honor of the child's birth....
"A RED ROSEBUD ON THE ALTER"
A red rosebud was placed
Sitting on the church alter
In a beautiful glass vase
For the birth in the honor
Of a child so full of grace
