"THE HAPPINESS TURNS TO SILENCE"
The last few festive days
Had been just wonderful
The weekend wedding day
An event that was just beautiful
When the weekend came to Sunday
Everyone was filled with joy
And they all could not believe
When the mother came down stairs
And started talking about her distressing dream
The happiness turned to sad dispair
Like a balloon losing it's air it seem
The happy atmosphere ended
Casting a pall of earily silenced
Last night, while closing my eyes to go to sleep, I opened them briefly to see in front of me not 6 inches away a small black woman, perhaps about 50, in a red dress that showed no breasts like a child and a cherub face. Another blink, and the aberration was gone.
I can see why some people think they see ghosts.
