My poem "From Gathering To Silence" is about a gathering for an event that is crashed by a couple that has issues and the gathering comes to an abrupt end....
"FROM GATHERING TO SILENCE" The gathering was well underway Everyone was enjoying the event A couple walked in and got in the way And offered suggestions to vent That were strange and misguided And there was just total silence Could hear a pin drop unfortunately The enjoyable atmosphere became intense The gathering came to an end quickly

I know this gathering. A dark memory of my mother-in-law and father-in-law walking in and turning my life upside down.
