My poem "From Joy To Tears" is about a woman who is hoping to reconcile and reunite with a love interest during the holidays only for those prospects to fall apart....
"FROM JOY TO TEARS" The anticipation and prospect Had reinstilled the joy in her heart Of reuniting with her love interest But after the holidays were dashed apart And her fragile hopes and joys Turned into sadness and tears And that sought after reuniting joy Turned her happiness into tears And what she thought so much about Was not going to come about
