My poem "Places....The Tred Avon Ferry At Oxford, Maryland" is about a quaint river on Maryland's Eastern Shore that has a ferry in a quaint little town....
"PLACES....THE TRED AVON FERRY AT OXFORD, MARYLAND"
On Eastern Shore
Names that are more
Synonymous with Shakespeare
Than with the Delmarva shore
A ferry that treds
Choppy watery paths
In among inlets
To solid land paths
Headfing toward delights
Of scenic historical sights
