My prose / poem "His Mind Gets In The Way" is about the guys who have so many issues clouding up their minds that they find it impossible to let issues go and just find a way to ease their minds....
"HIS MIND GETS IN THE WAY" If he could forget all the issues That was clouding up his mind All of that cloudy thinking That was completely clouding his mind By just letting go of it all Of everything that was in his mind He just might end up being alright And it will all ease up his mind

Thank you Glenda Bixler for your responsive poetry....This is exactly what gives men a bad name with their women folk....Many men unfortunately are just that way....Just concerned with only themselves and no one else except themselves....On the other hand I was raised better than that and always look out for others and their wants and needs instead of mine....

Her Mind Gets in the Way

He says he'd done all that he can
He just doesn't understand it
When his mind is clouded with everything
Except me and our relationship
What makes a man fill his mind with
business, sports, and going out with the boys
What makes those things more important to him
Then our own relationship and family
He claims he needs to go to the gym
He's stressed out; his mind needs to work things out
Coming back, while I've cleaned house,
got the kids ready for bed
wondering why he's out so late...
He's all refreshed; cleared his mind
Now he wants to go to bed
Not caring that my mind gets in the way...
