My prose / poem "Her Mind Gets In The Way" is about who get completely stressed out and annoyed and if they block all of it it out, they might be able to tolerate the minor annoyances....
"HER MIND GETS IN THE WAY" All that she thought that was Completely stressing out her mind All that was greatly annoying Was just very annoying in her mind If just blocking out the annoyances And just easing it out of her mind She just might be able to tolerate The minor stuff that she won't mind

His Mind Gets in the Way...

Of course I've tried to talk to him
But he's busy or watching TV
It seems he doesn't hear me in words
Even though my face may express sorrow and tears
What he calls annoyances to forget
I often hurt for days for his personal actions
He thinks a continuous bombardment of
Small insults, forgetfulness or anger
Should be considered minor stuff--
I shouldn't mind...
When he sees me walk out the door
He won't understand at all
To him it was all just minor stuff
That I shouldn't have minded at all...
