My poem "40 Days And Nights In One Day" is about how one day it started raining and it continued to pour all throughout the day and where it started to resemble the biblical 40 days and 40 nights....
"40 DAYS AND NIGHTS IN ONE DAY" Early one morning The rain started pouring And the more it rained The harder it rained And it started becoming concerning Because water started standing Some places it was flooding And it looked so terrible And resembled the biblical Days of 40 days and nights It looked like a watery sight

During Harvey, we got 42 inches (nearly 4 feet!) In three days. I can imagine what 40 days of rain like that would have amounted to!

It's scary in some places that are prone to storms and rain. I watched the news of those places that are filled with flood water, many houses and properties are destroyed in a matter of minutes. I have no idea why there are so many floods and storms in the world now. It's scary time indeed!

Up here in Canada where I am is not so bad. We've been able to dodge the storms and the floodings so far. Thank God!
