My poem "A Spring Saturday Celebration" is about a Spring Saturday, some people were going off to a wedding celebration while someone else is again on the way to the usual rigors of work, while thinking about a lovely someone special who had my heart sweetly beating and thinking about possible future nuptials....
"A SPRING SATURDAY CELEBRATION" It was a Spring Saturday a nice Spring weekend day Once again it was not a quirk And again I had to get onto work And as usual the neighbors were happa Again going to another wedding gala Wearing suits and dresses all joyful For a Saturday Spring nuptial My thoughts turned to someone sweet Who just makes my knees so weak A very sweet loving relationship That had the makings of courtship Could it be something in the making Could there be some sweet kissing At the alter in a future wedding
