My poem "Madilyn" is about a well educated, intelligent woman who I was very fond of and was heading off to a life a new adventures.

 "MADILYN"

Had gone to school with Madilyn

She was so very pretty

Madilyn was an intelligent woman

Who was a very smart cookie

Being a well educated woman

Madilyn was top notch classy

I always had a fondness for Madilyn

But when I saw Madilyn one day

Was a shock that sent my mind whirling

She was packing the car to go away

She was heading across the nation

On her way to new adventures that day

Life for her was going to be flyin

But for me it was just another day

Just goes to show that each one of us has a different focus in life. Some seek to be more adventurous.

Sandie

P.S. Fifth line, the word is "educated".
