My poem "A DAY....January 24, 1982" is about how on a cold, cloudy January, on Super Bowl Sunday, a flock of 25,000 squawking birds filled the skies.
"A DAY....JANUARY 24, 1982"
It was a usual January
Cold, cloudy morning
It was Super Bowl Sunday
Was a very quiet morning
Until we heard the noise
Of many birds squawking
25,000 birds filled the skies
It actually became darkness
And it took awhile for
The spectacle to pass
And on their way to explore
