My prose / poem "1973....Black Velvet Pirate Ship" is visiting relatives in Queens, New York, how I went into a gift shop, purchased a black velvet poster of a colorful pirate ship, and when I returned home had it framed. My poem is in my poetry book "The Journey Through My Life".
"1973....BLACK VELVET PIRATE SHIP" On my vacation trip To visit my relatives In Queens, New York I had walked into a gift shop And found a very lovely Black Velvet poster Of a colorful pirate ship Sailing the sea at night Under a full orange moon nce I brought it home I had the poster framed In a beautiful orange frame And prominently had it hung On the wall in my bedroom
