My prose / poem "Vacation....Heading South For Vacation Time" is about the family heading to Virginia to visit relatives and to North Carolina to visit friends of the family. This poem is in my poetry book "The Journey Through my Life".
VACATION....HEADING SOUTH FOR VACATION TIME"
It was vacation time
We were heading south
To visit the relatives
In Richmond, Virginia
For a couple of days
Then off to visit the friends
In Charlotte North Carolina
For a few days
Then back to visiting
Relatives again in Virginia
Visitiing the relatives
We missed the first time
Then it was time
For the fun to end
And head north
And back on home
