My poem "A Day....May 21, 1961....May Day Celebration" is about the school's annual May Day Carnival celebration. This poem is in my book of poetry "The Journey Through My Life".
"A DAY....MAY 21, 1961....MAY DAY CELEBRATION" The May Day carnival A sping school celebration The parents came with the kiddies All enjoyed the activities The Mexican Hat dancers We were real crowd pleasers And with a real mexican hat Center of the dancers it sat And there were plenty Hot dogs and cotton candy Oh, the food was just fine Everyone had a good time
