My poem "Abigail....Lunch With Abigale" "May 24, 1974" is about once running into my friend Abigale at a fast food eatery.
"ABIGAIL....LUNCH WITH ABIGALE"
"May 24, 1974"
I had entered the eatery
The place was not exactly upscale
And who but did I see
My long time friend Abigail
Oh it had been two long years
Since I had last seen
My friend Abigail in tears
On the night of our graduation
So we chatted over lunch
When we were done, said our goodbyes
And I had this haunting hunch
Would be a long time between saying hi
