A MONTH....JULY 1972....VISIT TO YORKTOWN"
We were visiting
The grandparents
In Richmond, Virginia
We decided to take a trip
To Yorktown, Virginia
So we headed for
The historical district
And the site of
The last battle of
The Revolutionary War
I checked out the cave
That Lord Cornwallis
Used to hide out
From the Americans
Until it was time
For him to surrender
