Had been a long hard winter
Conrinuously with no break
Never ending snowy winter
Cold and wind for sakes
Unless you went to work
Or went shopping for groceries
You did not have to go berserk
Later would make for good stories
Finally the end of February
And the long awaited break
From the long endless wintry
Arrived to the delight
Of a town winter weary
